Subject: Definitely worth a listen
The Peggy-O is excellent. Estimated Prophet has an unusual ending before the segue into Uncle John's Band. Jerry sounds like he's having trouble finding his legs after the set break, but settles in nicely for a 2nd set Sugaree.

Subject: YES!!!! a soundboard of this show
i love this show it was one the first shows given to me on a maxwell low bias cassette by a guy named chip who i was working with at a hermans sporting goods store. i listened to it till it wore out after being spliced many times. Being born in '77 i was just a pup when the dead where making some their best music, this show being a pure example of the experiemental cohesiveness that makes the music so spellbinding. this is probably my favorite stella or special stella as i like to call it because it is unusually unique and beautiful. this whole show is worth a listen but the peggyO, sugaree, stella, and a very fast paced sug mag are the highlights but the whole show has a haunting beauty that still makes the hairs on my neck stand up. ive had an audience recording for many years which has a very low end echoy sound to it and i am soooo happy to finally have a soundboard of this amazing show. Thanks so much archive and grateful listening -ah
